In a nutshell...

This is the life and times of a random faceless army wife trying to get by in a dull army life. Well mostly dull.

I Hate Airports Part: 2

Day two of a four hour trip. I stayed in the Crowne Plaza last night. It took over three hours to get in my room, but once it got there... Omg it was nice. I had a room that runs $230 a night before taxes. I had a kong size bed and a billion pillows. I took some picture turned the air on and passed out. It was awesome. I slept so well, I woke up today at 6. I'm on the shuttle now and I'm about to get to the airport so more later. I hope it goes better today. Got through security just fine. I wonder if it would have been faster if I had said yea when asked if I was military. I think next time someone asks I'll just say yes just to see what they do. I mean I am sorta military. I have a military i.d. and I live on an army base. Plus it's hard work being an army wife. Who am I kidding I'll say no out of habit. My point, I am here early ready to face united head on. I am prepared for bad news, but I'm hoping for good. I am beyond ready to home and out of airports. Well I'm back to sitting bored at my gate. I have an hour before boarding starts. So far so good. Keep your fingers crossed.

Well I made it home on time. I was so exhausted by the time I for home. Thus concludes part one of my trip. I get the joys of traveling untied again in a month when I head back to New York. I'm so excited.

I Hate Airports Part: 1

Thank you Bill. You and I feel the same way about airports. Well hate is going a little far, but I really, really don't like them. I would almost except a horde of the undead attacking so I won't be so bored.
Anywho, my flight was delayed. What a shock. Lol not that I can really complain. It always happens to me. Plus this way I don't have a two hour lay over in Chicago. Unless I miss my delay causes me to miss my flight. Then I have a 5 hour lay over. Yay! ::hours later:: As much as I wish I could say I made my connection in Chicago to Birmingham, I can't. Why is that you ask? Because I am still waiting for my flight TO Chicago. In other new I finally got hungry enough to go buy a sandwhich and some chips. They taste heavenly. It's mostly like due to the fact I haven't ate since this morning. Also I just heard the best thing ever! I flight will be boarding in half an hour! ::a hand full of minutes later:: I'm on my plane! Now to turn my phone off. And by off I mean turn airplane mode on. :)
Ok I am in Buffalo. There were issues with the plane and we had to land. I know this isn't the second post I promised, but it is getting really long. I should be boarding my flight to Chicago in half an hour. I will most likely pass out when I get to my free room. I hope there will be a free breakfast. If so I am going to raid it. I am running low on funds for food. I will write another post tomorrow. That way you will know everything I go through on attempt to go home.

Come fly with me!

Sorry about not post like I said I would. My app ate my post. :( I will take a moment to rewrite it while I'm waiting in Chicago. So that means you get not one but TWO posts today! Woot!

Now to the main part of the post. I am getting ready to head to the airport. :D I am flying home today. I will be home for a month. I am beyond excited! I will post about my trip tomorrow night.

The Time of my Life

I always seem to get sick during the summer. I normally don't mind. It's an excuse to say inside and read. When I get sick, it drags on for weeks. I'm never sick enough to justify a doctors visit, but just sick enough to not want to do anything but sleep. Don't fret my imaginary readers! I am feeling much better, and an upcoming trip to the oven known as Alabama should give me things to write about.

In a side note, to add to the fun of being sick. I was sick on my birthday. Yay! I think I'll post about my birthday visitors tomorrow.
