I was sitting in Coach Burton's class with my normal frown. I always found civics boring. I was sitting in the second row from the windows in the very back. It was second period and all I wanted was to take a nap. I remember sitting their thinking while I watched it on tv thinking that is was just a bad dream. That any second now Couch Burton would wake me up and tell me to get back to work. My memory normally is that great, but I can remember those hours very clearly.
In a nutshell...
This is the life and times of a random faceless army wife trying to get by in a dull army life. Well mostly dull.

To be or not to be.
I have always had this problem. I am an indecisive, implosive person. I follow my heart, and and tend to not think things through. I get caught up in moment, and do things I can later regret. If I do take the time to stop and think about it, I often can not make ip my mind and just wing it.

I hate airports: part 3
I know I promise to post while I was in Alabama, but I was busy doing nothing. It's possible. I spent time with my family. We laughed. We cried. We cheated while playing the wii.
I come to you today from the Syracuse USO where I am sitting and waiting for the hub man to get off work and cone get me. The people here are super nice, and the chairs are super comfy. it has made this last hour and a half a whole lot better. I sat next to it on the hard airport bench while I summoned the courage to ask if I could sit in there. Well I had a plan. I watched the people and picked the nicest looking one and asked them. Upon entering I was offered food and drinks. Yep what could be better then being curled up with a good book? Nothing. Well maybe all that and at home instead of the airport. Anywho I for see a nap int near future. Just about all the other people here are asleep (they are headed to basic today).

I Hate Airports Part: 2
Day two of a four hour trip. I stayed in the Crowne Plaza last night. It took over three hours to get in my room, but once it got there... Omg it was nice. I had a room that runs $230 a night before taxes. I had a kong size bed and a billion pillows. I took some picture turned the air on and passed out. It was awesome. I slept so well, I woke up today at 6. I'm on the shuttle now and I'm about to get to the airport so more later. I hope it goes better today. Got through security just fine. I wonder if it would have been faster if I had said yea when asked if I was military. I think next time someone asks I'll just say yes just to see what they do. I mean I am sorta military. I have a military i.d. and I live on an army base. Plus it's hard work being an army wife. Who am I kidding I'll say no out of habit. My point, I am here early ready to face united head on. I am prepared for bad news, but I'm hoping for good. I am beyond ready to home and out of airports. Well I'm back to sitting bored at my gate. I have an hour before boarding starts. So far so good. Keep your fingers crossed.
Well I made it home on time. I was so exhausted by the time I for home. Thus concludes part one of my trip. I get the joys of traveling untied again in a month when I head back to New York. I'm so excited.

I Hate Airports Part: 1
Thank you Bill. You and I feel the same way about airports. Well hate is going a little far, but I really, really don't like them. I would almost except a horde of the undead attacking so I won't be so bored.
Anywho, my flight was delayed. What a shock. Lol not that I can really complain. It always happens to me. Plus this way I don't have a two hour lay over in Chicago. Unless I miss my delay causes me to miss my flight. Then I have a 5 hour lay over. Yay! ::hours later:: As much as I wish I could say I made my connection in Chicago to Birmingham, I can't. Why is that you ask? Because I am still waiting for my flight TO Chicago. In other new I finally got hungry enough to go buy a sandwhich and some chips. They taste heavenly. It's mostly like due to the fact I haven't ate since this morning. Also I just heard the best thing ever! I flight will be boarding in half an hour! ::a hand full of minutes later:: I'm on my plane! Now to turn my phone off. And by off I mean turn airplane mode on. :)
Ok I am in Buffalo. There were issues with the plane and we had to land. I know this isn't the second post I promised, but it is getting really long. I should be boarding my flight to Chicago in half an hour. I will most likely pass out when I get to my free room. I hope there will be a free breakfast. If so I am going to raid it. I am running low on funds for food. I will write another post tomorrow. That way you will know everything I go through on attempt to go home.

Come fly with me!
Sorry about not post like I said I would. My app ate my post. :( I will take a moment to rewrite it while I'm waiting in Chicago. So that means you get not one but TWO posts today! Woot!
Now to the main part of the post. I am getting ready to head to the airport. :D I am flying home today. I will be home for a month. I am beyond excited! I will post about my trip tomorrow night.

The Time of my Life
I always seem to get sick during the summer. I normally don't mind. It's an excuse to say inside and read. When I get sick, it drags on for weeks. I'm never sick enough to justify a doctors visit, but just sick enough to not want to do anything but sleep. Don't fret my imaginary readers! I am feeling much better, and an upcoming trip to the oven known as Alabama should give me things to write about.
In a side note, to add to the fun of being sick. I was sick on my birthday. Yay! I think I'll post about my birthday visitors tomorrow.

My Summers
It seems like I am always sick during the summer. I can make it through winter with a stuffy/runny nose, but once summer hits BAM!!! I'm sick.
It of course doesn't help that the hub man's cold decided to come back for another visit. So if you will excuse me, I'm going to sleep for the next 10 days. Then wake up and celebrate my 23rd birthday. Man I'm getting old.

Summer Plans
I don't have many chances to leave my house. So needless to say, I am a bit stir crazy. Ok I am a lot more then a bit.
However don't worry. A solution has been found! I am going back to my home in Alabama in July, and I'm staying a full month. The best part is I'll be able to celebrate 11 years of friends ship with my beat friend Kellie. I will celebrate with some sushi and cake (maybe pumpkin pie).
I'm super excited! Even if it will be a billion-million degrees. It's too bad Matt can't come. Oh well. I might see if I can get a girls trip together and go to the beach/lake for a weekend. I want to swim!

fun, fun, and more fun
Today is going to be a fun filled day! Which makes sense. It's Saturday. Saturday's are best day of the week.
To the point. Today = Fun. Why is that? Because I get to spend ALL DAY washing clothes and dishes! Yay! Which also means I will be watching movies all day while folding clothes. I'm also playing words with friends with my mother-in-law. I hope I win. :)

I am a sap.
My friend Ryan makes fun of me for this, but it's whatever. As the title states, I am a sap. I didn't use to be so girly, but I have become one over the past couple weeks. I cry from movies, tv shows, books, music, and other random things.
For example, When I was watching How I Met Your Mother. I won't say what, spoilers. When ever I watch The End of Time, I love me some 10th doctor. I also got all teary eyed when U watch the last episode of this half of season 6. I have always had a weakness for violins. I cried at the end of Changes (12th Harry Dresden book). I could go on forever but I don't want to look like a giant wussy.

random thoughts
I am a night owl. If I'm not careful my sleep schedule will reset it's self to the way it wants to be. Which can be rather annoying.
Right now I don't have much to do during the day, but I plan to be enrolled in online school for the fall semester. I just have to get everything set up. however for now my days are filled with the sims. Just so you know, I am addicted to the sims. I may be living pay check to pay check, but my sim has: a great job, a beautiful house, a snazzy car, and more money then she knows what to do with. If only real life was the sims.
My sim had just got back from prom. She was prom queen :)

I'm lame. I know.
So I'm not sure if anyone even reads this, and I let that keep me from posting. But no longer shall I do that! To help motivate me I downloaded a blog app. I just love doing stuff from my phone :D
Anywho, I'm still chilling out at Drum. I'm looking into online classes. That way I can do stuff here until I get a chance to finish my culinary schooling. I would say nurse, but I don't think you can do all of that online. So I'm think some tech job. I think you can do that online. Either that or a job like transcribing or billing. I'll tell you more later.

Hub man is all better! Hurray! Now I don't have to take care of him! Double hurray! However tonight is going to be filled with baking! :D I'm making hub man some brownies, and I'm making some bear claws for a frg breakfast tomorrow. This is going to be a long but fun night. Anywho, I have baking to do.

Drama
So I was doing my daily creep on the AWDIWH page on facebook. For the most part, I love this page. You can get advice from other army wives. Which me being a total noob, talking to a more experienced army wife makes me feel better. Don't let the title of this post trick you into thinking the page is nothing but drama. I just have mad drama finding skills.
Anywho, someone was asking what to do because her friend thinks the girl next door is having an affair while her hub man is over seas. After browsing through the comments I found that most women had the same thing to say. Mind your own business. There were a couple people who fanned the flames of drama. Which makes sense. For every one girl out there that hates drama, there are 5 that live off of drama. My step-sister is one of them. But I digress. This girl in question lives on post. I live on post. It just makes me wonder. Are my neighbors really ignoring me? Or are they spying on me in some weird need to find more drama? It's bad enough that word got around I had a kid. (That's a story for a different day.) Then again, they can't find drama around me. I'm rather boring. I stay inside with my cats. I only go out to sit on my back porch and to get the mail. What's the worse they could say? That I'm a crazy cat lady? Psh. I had worse things said about me in high school.
Although in hind sight, I read the drama, and think what stupid needless drama. Then turn around and come back the next day to read some more. Maybe I'm as bad as the drama addicts.

Home Alone
Hub man has cq *charge of quarters* so I have the apartment to myself. So I've been watching reruns of How I Met Your Mother. That and I've been watching my two cats bond. It makes me smile. Maybe Riri can help db find things. -side note- I don't hide my cat's food from her. She just isn't that bright, but that might be why I love her.-
Anyway... It was another rainy day at Drum. So I've been sleepy. That and I've been doing everything in my power not to catch my hub man's cold. He's been sickish the all week. Well as much as I'd love to sit here: 1) I really should clean and 2) I ran out of things to say, and I figure not even fictional readers want to hear me rant.
But before I go here's a picture of my other cat Riri. She 10 months old, and db is only 6 weeks old. Just a random fun fact...

Sooo
Have you ever had an awesome idea to write about, but due to things beyond your control *or stumbling too much* you forgot it by the time you started to write. Yeah, that never happens to me. I do however start to write it and then forget half way what the point was and start ranting. For example: I'm now on my third attempt at this post.
I thought today I would tell you a funny story from my past. That way our bond becomes stronger and blah blah blah. It's Wednesday, and we are half way through the week. So I thought a good laugh would help us get to the weekend. Plus I think everyone should be able to laugh at themselves.
This one time when I was playing dnd (dungeons and drangons for those who don't know). Stop laughing, that wasn't the funny part. Like I was saying, this one time I was playing dnd and I was a ranger. Ha! I know me a ranger. Oh wait you didn't know I normally play as a rouge. Right, Ranger. Things were going great, and we by some means I can no longer remember were all granted one wish. People got weapons, magical items, and other nice shiny things. I had everything my character need, but I wanted an animal companion. I could have got a wolf, tiger, dragon, or any other awesome sounding animal. What did I wish for? A cat. (That's the funny part. You can laugh now.) I was told I couldn't have a cat, but I could have this! Which is way cooler then a normal cat. Sadly, the main villain of the campaign turned my kitteh against me and I had to chop it's head off. Sad day.
Now that I think about it this really isn't that funny. Even by nerd standards. So here's a new story. My friend had found some alchemic solutions and wanted to test them out. (yes it's more dnd) So he killed a squirrel and then poured said solutions on it. A few second later it came to life and proceded to beat the hell out of him. The cute little zombie squirrel managed to break a few ribs and puncher a lung. Moral of the story? Squirrels are bad asses.

db
Today has been an interesting day. How so? Our newest edition to our family unit db is one of the neediest kittens I have even known.
She seems to need someone near her at all times to approve of everything she does. I think she just likes the praise she gets when she does things right.
Hub man: "You found your food!" db: "love me!" Hub man: "ok"
Well that's the main one. She loses her food a lot. Don't judge, it's hard to think of stuff on the spot.
But today has consisted of:
It hasn't been a very productive day, but at least db had a nice day.

- Wake up when hub man goes to pt - db lays down on me and goes to sleep
- Sleep with db
- Wake up for real this time - db stirs enough to notice I want up then goes back to sleep
- Play on my phone until to hungry to stay in bed - move db to a pillow
- Make some food - db cries about losing her food again
- Check my email - db whines until I pick her up
- Move on to facebook - db falls asleep and now my left arm is useless
- Random Computer stuff - db wakes and play with tiger, finds her food, and then settles down for another nap on my arm
It hasn't been a very productive day, but at least db had a nice day.

Woot! Stuff!
Today is going to be fun! I get stuff today! This may not seem exciting to you, but for me it is. I get my new phone today, my nook, the laptop, and various other small things.
So to help explain I'll give some back story. Sorry they won't be an epic tale. My phone was the only victim of the Great Bedroom Flood of 2001. As cool as that sounds, it was only a busted pipe. I just like giving things cool sounding names. As for the other stuff, they are finally retuning to me from Afghanistan. As previously stated, I am an army wife. So when my husband *or hub man* was in Afghanistan I let him take my beloved nook *might I also add that this was purchased as my birthday gift... granted it was bought roughly four months early* When he broke his leg he came home early and all of is stuff stayed behind. ~this ends the back story portion of this post~
Yep, that's bout it. Not much happen out in Fort Drum. It's nice and quiet and driving me insane. I might start doodling. That way when my future reads look back they will have something to look at.

10 Things I like about myself.
Hello! If you are reading this then you are awesome! I thought a good way to start would be a list of things about me. So I thought I would challenge myself and make it things I like about me. How is it a challenge? I'm a women. I don't like much about me.
1. I have a unnatural fondness of lists. That is why I started with a list.
2. I love the word kiddo. I think it's the coolest word ever.
3. I have a HUGE family.
4. I can talk to strangers with relative ease.
5. I do not smoke.
6. I can find joy in simple things. *more commonly known as easily amused*
7. My whitest is the same as my husband at his tannest.
8. I sound like a chipmunk when I'm excited about something.
9. I can bake like a mad genius.
10. I watch anime. *side note: anime and cartoons are not the same*
::an hour later:: Hurray! The list is done! Now for some general stuff about me. I'm a super awesome army wife with 2 cats. I have a background in the culinary arts (baking only but I can cook). I'm a cancer, for those who care. I'm also terrible at talking about myself. Right now I'm living the good life at Fort Drum, but come July I will be moving to Fort Bliss in El Paso. This blog will be my way of sharing my life as an army wife. *spoiler alert* it's most likely nothing like the show* However if you stick around and look past my spelling and grammar fails. I'm sure you will enjoy reading this. Well I hope you will.
